University of Luzon SHS Student Earns Silver Medal in the National Interschool Taekwondo Championships 2026

Discipline, determination, and dedication marked the performance of Lannah De Jesus, a Grade 12 STEM student of the University of Luzon Senior High School, who secured the silver medal in the Kyorugi category of the National Interschool Taekwondo Championships 2026.

The competition was held on August 22–23, 2026, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, bringing together young athletes from different schools to demonstrate their skills and competitive spirit. Representing UL, Ms. De Jesus showcased her abilities on the mat, earning recognition for her performance in the tournament.

Behind her preparation was Coach CJ Daroya of Bangus Taekwondo Club, whose guidance and support helped her develop the discipline and skills needed for the competition. Her silver medal finish reflects the value of consistent practice, perseverance, and dedication to both academics and extracurricular activities.
