University of Luzon Nursing Student Continues Erasmus+ Journey with Surgery Department Rotation

International clinical learning continues to broaden the horizons of future healthcare professionals of the University of Luzon. Ms. Ralph Zen Francisco, a third-year nursing student, is currently undertaking her Erasmus+ Student Mobility Scholarship Grant through a clinical placement in Poland.

Her current rotation is being conducted in the Surgery Department of Wielospecjalistyczny Szpital w Ostrowcu Świętokrzyskim under the supervision of Mgr. Katarzyna Gajek. Together with fellow nursing students from Jozef Gulochowski University, she is strengthening her clinical knowledge, enhancing her professional competence, and gaining valuable intercultural experience in a real-world healthcare environment.

Throughout the placement, Ms. Francisco performs essential patient care responsibilities, including IV insertion, blood extraction, feeding assistance, and bed making. These hands-on experiences strengthen her clinical skills, deepen student learning, and further prepare her to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in diverse healthcare settings.

The University of Luzon continues to expand opportunities that prepare students for the demands of global healthcare.
