The University of Luzon (UL) is proud to announce its successful participation in the historic 1st Dagupan City Higher Education Institution (HEI) Career Fair, held from April 17 to 18, 2024, at the CSI Stadia. This momentous event, themed “Tagumpay Mo Kabataan, Pangarap ng Dagupan” (Your Success, Dagupan’s Dream), served as a valuable resource for graduating K to 12 students in Dagupan City, offering career guidance and fostering informed decision-making about their future academic paths.

The University of Luzon, a distinguished institution with a rich heritage in Dagupan City, actively participated alongside numerous other esteemed institutions. Our representatives were delighted to interact with over 4,000 enthusiastic students, showcasing the breadth and depth of our diverse academic programs. They provided detailed information on our esteemed faculty, scholarship opportunities, and vibrant student life at UL. This informative exchange ensured a seamless transition for students interested in pursuing their academic goals at our university.

The 1st Dagupan City HEI Career Fair transcended the realm of academics by championing responsible recruitment practices. The collaborative efforts of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) were instrumental in equipping students with crucial knowledge to identify and avoid predatory recruitment practices. University of Luzon representatives actively echoed these messages, empowering students to make well-informed decisions that align with their dreams and aspirations.

This impactful initiative, graced by the presence of our esteemed alumna, Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez, stands as a testament to the collective commitment of educational institutions, government bodies, and city officials to nurturing the ambitions of Dagupan’s youth. Mayor Fernandez, a beacon of success for aspiring students, encouraged young learners to reach for their career goals with patience and determination, emphasizing the importance of making the best out of their productive years. The University of Luzon wholeheartedly echoes this message and applauds the Mayor’s dedication to the city’s future generation.

The 1st Dagupan City HEI Career Fair served as a launchpad for exploration and empowerment, paving the way for graduating students to chart their course towards successful careers. The University of Luzon is proud to have been a part of this impactful event and remains steadfast in its commitment to providing students with the resources and knowledge necessary to navigate their academic and professional journeys with confidence. We look forward to participating in future iterations of the HEI Career Fair, continuing to contribute to the well-being and success of not only Dagupan’s future generation but students from all regions who aspire to be part of the UL legacy.
