The University of Luzon gathered students for an afternoon of student leadership, music, and fellowship during the Mass Induction and Students’ Jam 2026, held on September 16, 2026, at CSI Lucao Stadia in Dagupan City.

With the theme “Jazz Up Your Denim,” the event brought together Luzonians for a program that combined the formal induction of student leaders with live entertainment. Students wore denim outfits and joined the celebration, which encouraged participation and a sense of belonging within the university community.

The Mass Induction formally welcomed the newly elected officers of the Student Council and Interest Clubs for Academic Year 2026–2027. Mr. John Martin D. Baltazar served as Guest Speaker and Inducting Officer, guiding the officers as they began their responsibilities in student governance.

The Students’ Jam added music to the gathering, featuring performances by Arthur Miguel and DJ Aera Devika. The program gave students an opportunity to enjoy live entertainment and connect with fellow Luzonians outside the classroom.

The event reflects the University of Luzon’s support for student development and responsible participation in campus life. It aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals particularly, learning beyond the classroom advances SDG 4: Quality Education by helping students develop leadership skills through their roles in student organizations; and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through participatory leadership and responsible student governance, encouraging community engagement and active involvement in campus traditions.

Through activities that combine leadership and fellowship, UL provides students with opportunities to practice their skills, take part in university life, and contribute to a more engaged campus community.
