University of Luzon Expands Global Learning Through ULCONM Immersion Program in Indonesia

A new chapter of international learning and professional growth unlocked by 3rd Year Student Nurses and Clinical Instructors as they are selected delegates to participate in the Unity Link for Clinical Opportunities in Nursing Mobility (ULCONM) Immersion Program on May 17-24, 2026, hosted by Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu, Indonesia.

Representing the University are student nurses Kyla N. Sumagingsing, Arabella Grace R. Sanidad, Rodmarn F. Rodas, Johaimah G. Maunga, Donita E. Malazo, Abegail C. Legayo, Angelica G. Grado, Ramona T. Carbonel, Rohanna M. Aquino, and Jemarie Alvarez, together with nursing and midwifery faculty members Ms. Jelyn C. Soria, Ms. Omarie, Umangay, and Ms. Kyla Mae Palazo who will guide and support the delegation throughout the immersion experience.

This international mobility initiative reflects the University of Luzon’s commitment to providing transformative professional education and meaningful practical training beyond the traditional classroom. Through exposure to diverse healthcare settings, participants will enhance their clinical skills, broaden their cultural understanding, and gain valuable insights into nursing practice in a global environment.

SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) is advanced through immersive experiences that strengthen clinical competence and deepen understanding of human health in diverse healthcare environments. SDG 4 (Quality Education) is promoted by providing professional education and practical training that enrich student learning through international exposure. SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) is reinforced through the collaboration between the University of Luzon and Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu, fostering global cooperation in healthcare education.
