Eight nursing graduates from the University of Luzon passed the August 2026 Nursing Licensure Examination, qualifying them to enter the nursing profession and serve in the healthcare field.

UL recorded an 83.33% passing rate among first-time takers, reflecting the preparation and professional training provided to its nursing students.

The University recognizes the guidance of Dean Prof. Dr. Jordan H. Llego and the faculty and staff of the College of Nursing and Midwifery. Their support, together with classroom learning and hands-on clinical preparation, helps students develop the skills and knowledge needed to care for patients and respond to healthcare needs.

Through professional education and practical training, UL prepares future nurses to apply their knowledge in real healthcare settings. Their qualifications also provide opportunities to enter the labor market and build careers in a field that plays an important role in human health and community well-being.

The University congratulates its eight newly registered nurses for their hard work and dedication throughout their studies and examination preparation. Their success reflects the value of quality education in developing qualified healthcare professionals.

Preparing nursing graduates with relevant knowledge and practical skills also supports broader goals for health, education, and employment. This direction aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being is supported by preparing qualified nurses to contribute to patient care and healthcare services; SDG 4: Quality Education is advanced through professional education and practical training that build essential nursing skills; and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth is supported by equipping graduates with professional qualifications for employment in the healthcare workforce.
