University of Luzon Congratulates 9 Alumni on Completing the PSBRC 2025-02 Training

Nine Bachelor of Science in Criminology graduates of the University of Luzon have successfully finished the Philippine National Police Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) 2025-02, Class “TIKAS MANDAWIS,” marking an important step in their careers in public service.
The PSBRC 2025-02 held its closing and graduation ceremonies on July 1, recognizing the trainees who completed the required professional training for entry into the Philippine National Police. The program provided practical training and professional education designed to prepare recruits for the responsibilities of police service.
Among those who completed the course were PAT William Bill L. Javier, PAT Juvilee W. Matbagan, PAT John Michael B. Celeste, PAT Mark Anthony O. Poserio, PAT Dominic B. Mendoza, PAT Lorenzo Jr. T. Sabiniano, PAT Adrian Jay B. Aquino, PAT Rhayanly R. Dela Cruz, and PAT Arven Jess A. Torio.
The University of Luzon proudly congratulates its nine BS Criminology alumni for completing the PSBRC and taking this important step toward a career in the Philippine National Police. Their preparation reflects the skills and qualifications developed through their education and practical training at UL, which they can now carry into their roles in public service.
The University of Luzon also extends its appreciation to the eternal Dean Dr. Esther B. Vedaña, Dean Dante De Castro, and the entire workforce of the College of Criminology for their guidance and support in preparing the graduates for their professional journey. Their dedication has helped provide students with a strong foundation in criminology and responsible public service.
The preparation of future public servants contributes to broader efforts toward sustainable development and responsible service. These efforts support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through professional education and practical training that strengthen professional competence; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by preparing qualified graduates for employment and productive participation in the labor market; SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through training that promotes the rule of law, public accountability, and human rights; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through cooperation between educational institutions, government agencies, and other organizations in preparing trainees for public service.
