University of Luzon Boxing Team Wins Bronze at National PRISAA Games 2026

Resilience, discipline, and determination defined the University of Luzon Boxing Team’s performance as it earned three Bronze Medals during the National PRISAA Games 2026, held from May 5–16 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
Representing the University with pride, Criminology student-athletes Dennis Quirimit captured the Bronze Medal in the 48kg Minimum Weight Division, Mark Angelo Caoile secured Bronze in the 54kg Bantam Weight Division, and Jhumits Zulueta claimed Bronze in the 63.5kg Light Welter Weight Division. Their achievement reflects months of rigorous training, competitive spirit, and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the ring.
The University of Luzon also commends Coach Belly Jake Quinto for his unwavering dedication and professional training that helped prepare the team for national-level competition.
This achievement also reflects the University’s support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
