University of Luzon Advances AI Readiness Through Philippines Agentic AI Forum 2026

Emerging technologies continue to shape the future of higher education, with the University of Luzon engaging in discussions on the growing role of artificial intelligence in organizations and learning. Dr. Diosdado C. Caronongan, Dean of the College of Computer Studies, represented the University of Luzon at the Philippines Agentic AI Forum 2026 (PAAF).

The forum was held on July 29, 2026, at the Makati Shangri-La in Makati City, Metro Manila. It brought together industry leaders, technology innovators, government representatives, investors, and enterprise decision-makers to examine developments in Agentic AI and autonomous enterprise systems.

Discussions focused on AI governance, enterprise adoption, scalability, and the use of autonomous systems that can plan, make decisions, execute tasks, and optimize business workflows. The forum also explored how organizations can move beyond generative AI experimentation toward practical applications across education, business, telecommunications, financial services, and the public sector.

Dr. Caronongan’s participation gave the University of Luzon an opportunity to gain insights into emerging technologies and their possible applications in higher education. These insights can help inform approaches to teaching, learning, and skills development in an increasingly technology-driven environment.
