2024

  •  The College of Nursing published the first Web of Science-indexed publication and the second Scopus-indexed publication entitled “Nursing faculty members’ response to bullying in the eyes of their students: A pilot study in Pangasinan,” authored by Dr. Jordan Llego, Prof. Ellen Gabriel, Ms. Jennie Corpus, Ms. Kristine Grace Bustillo, and Dr. Johanna Villar, under Nurse Education Today, one of the top nursing journals in the world, July 2024

2020

  • The College of Nursing and Midwifery published the first Scopus-indexed publication entitled “The Predictive Strength of Academic Performance in Passing the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination,” co-authored by Prof. Ellen Gabriel and Ms. Jennie Corpus, May 2020
  • Master of Science in Criminology Program was granted Level III 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, February, 2020
  • Master of Arts in Nursing Program was granted Level III 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, February, 2020
  • Master of Arts in Education Program was granted Level III 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, February, 2020
  • Master in Business Administration Program was granted Level III 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, February, 2020
  • Master in Public Administration Program was granted Level III 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, February, 2020

2019

  • University of Luzon was accorded RIAEIO AWARD of RECOGNITION and Royal Institute ACCREDITED SEAL during the Royal Institution 14th Global Congress & Conferment Ceremony, February 26-28, 2019 at Brunei Darussalam

2018

  • The Royal Institution Singapore awarded Ms. Jennie Corpus as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Nurses, Singapore, and Dr. Jordan Llego was awarded as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Researchers, Singapore, December 15, 2018
  • Bachelor in Secondary Education Program was granted Level IV 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACUCOA , October, 2018
  • Bachelor in Elementary Education Program was granted Level IV 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACUCOA , October, 2018
  • Business Administration Program was granted Level IV 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, October, 2018
  • Liberal Arts Program was granted Level IV 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACOCUA, October, 2018
  • Computer Science Program granted Level III 1st Re-Accredited Status by PACUCOA, October, 2018

2017

 Dr.  Amalia G. Dela Cruz , Dean College of Business Administration and HRM-Tourism  was conferred as Fellow of  Royal Institute of Accountants, Singapore(FRIAcc) in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, September 5, 3017

1st Place NATIONAL COMPETITION “ENACTUS UNILEVER  Topic Competition for Sustainable Livelihoods,” July 8, 2017, Manila..  UL ENACTUS has been consistently the 1st Placer for 3rd year in a row.

2016

University of  Luzon was awarded the following honors during the PACUCOA  27th Annual  General  Assembly, December 2, 2016:

  • First Master of Science in Criminology Program to have been granted Level III Re-Accredited Status in the Philippines 
  • Institution with the highest number of accredited programs in Region I (with 18  accredited programs)
  • Institution granted Autonomous Status as of September 2016
  • Computer Science Program granted Level II Re-Accredited Status by PACUCOA,  March 2016 visit
  • Tourism Program granted Level II Re-Accredited Status by PACUCOA, July 2016
  • Information Technology Program granted Level I Formal Accredited Status by PACUCOA, March 2016
  • Doctor of Arts Program Candidate Status, July 2016
  • Doctor of Philosophy Program Candidate Status, December 2016

2015

  • Prof. Willy U. Guieb, Faculty Member, College of Education & NSTP,  BSED Biological Science Batch 2003, Rank  No. 1 in Region and Rank 6 in the Philippines for the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads(NQESH)
  • Information Technology Program was granted Center of  Development in IT by CHED Technical Panel, December 2015
  • Criminology Program  granted Center of Excellence Renewed Status by CHED Technical Panel, October 2015
  • Awarded by Philippine National Red Cross the Testimonial Plaque for having donated 3,492 bags blood units within 10 years. One of the only 2 universities in Pangasinan.
