Requiescet in pace: Remembering the Victims of a Dark Period in Our History

Kindness is within the scope of humanity’s capabilities. However, human beings also have the capacity to commit the most heinous of crimes imaginable. A dichotomy that has been present since the beginning of time and will remain so well into the foreseeable future. It is imperative that we remember monumental events that have occurred in the past, as well as those that have occurred during our lifetimes, in order to protect history from those who would dare to change the narrative of what transpired.

Teddy Baguilat, a candidate for the Senate who ran in the past, paid a visit to the university to pay his respects to those who perished as a result of martial law.

On September 21, 2022, we will commemorate the passage of 50 years since the implementation of martial law. We must never, ever forget this day or the significance it holds.
