Dr. Carmelo John E. Vidal Showcases SDG Initiatives on Day 2 of the International Staff Mobility Program in Indonesia

As part of the International Staff Mobility 2026 hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, Dr. Carmelo John E. Vidal, official representative of the University of Luzon, participated in a series of academic and research engagements on May 5, 2026.

The day’s activities began with a visit to the Smart Eco Campus & SDGs Center, where Dr. Vidal presented the University of Luzon’s initiatives and best practices in localizing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The session provided an opportunity to share how the University integrates sustainability into its academic programs, community extension services, research endeavors, and institutional operations. In the afternoon, the delegation visited the ITS Research Center, where participants explored various research projects, technological innovations, and collaborative initiatives that contribute to academic excellence and industry development.
