Basic Reflexology Training

The University of Luzon, through the College of Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management (CBAHTM) and the Center for Integrated Extension Services, conducted a Basic Reflexology Training in Barangay Tebeng, Dagupan City on July 2024, as part of its commitment to providing community-based executive education and vocational training.

The program was open to the general public and engaged 35 non-student participants, including community residents, parents, barangay personnel, and individuals seeking practical wellness or livelihood skills.

This short, non-degree training introduced participants to the fundamental principles of reflexology, focusing on foot and hand pressure points, wellness applications, and stress-relief techniques. Facilitators provided hands-on guided practice, enabling participants to develop foundational reflexology competencies they may apply at home, in community settings, or as potential livelihood opportunities.

Hosting the training off-campus in Barangay Tebeng strengthened accessibility and community engagement, ensuring that individuals who may have limited capacity to visit the university could still benefit from skills-based learning. Participants reported significant skill acquisition and an improved understanding of reflexology’s wellness benefits.

This program demonstrates the University of Luzon’s dedication to lifelong learning, public access to education, and community empowerment.
