The initiative brought together sixty-seven enthusiastic Luzonians for a stimulating day of learning, directly addressing the core objective of equipping participants with the essential skills and insights required to successfully navigate the complexities of the ever-changing contemporary business environment. The seminar served as an enriching and necessary preparatory step for the attendees, positioning them to seize the opportunities and address the challenges inherent in their prospective professional careers.
The morning session was dedicated to the critical theme of technological evolution and its pervasive impact on commerce. Mrs. Ma. Dorissa Solomon, the esteemed Owner of Close and Solomon Virtual Assistance Services Philippines, delivered an invaluable address titled “Embracing the Digital Revolution: Key Skills for Tomorrow’s Business Leaders.” Her presentation underscored the non-negotiable importance of digital literacy, detailing the specific competencies that aspiring professionals must cultivate to maintain a competitive edge in a world increasingly dominated by technological advancements. Mrs. Solomon offered practical, enlightening perspectives ranging from the strategic leveraging of virtual platforms to the proactive adoption of emerging technologies, providing both intellectual challenge and inspiration to the students. This focus on digital preparedness is crucial for the next generation of business management professionals.
Following the deep dive into the digital realm, the afternoon session shifted focus toward resilience and adaptability in leadership. Mr. Mark Christopher C. Braganza, Owner of Situ Masaje Verde, offered a motivating and timely talk entitled “Navigating Change: How Aspiring Business Leaders Can Thrive in a Rapidly Evolving Business Environment.” Mr. Braganza effectively reframed change not as an obstacle, but as a potent catalyst for organizational and personal growth. His session provided Luzonians with vital strategic mindsets and actionable strategies for adapting swiftly and effectively to fluid market conditions, thereby ensuring their longevity and success in fast-paced industries. The collective success of the seminar is a testament to the University’s pedagogical model, which seamlessly integrates theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-relevant application.
