UL Dean Vidal Enhances Pasig City Governance Through CapDev ACE Partnership

On November 14, Dr. Carmelo John E. Vidal, Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Luzon and assessor with the Local Government Academy (LGA), collaborated with the Pasig City Local Government Unit (LGU) as part of LGA’s Capacity Development Acceleration and Competency Enhancement (CapDev ACE) initiative. The program, aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of LGU leaders and personnel, supports Pasig City’s mission to deliver effective, transparent governance while improving public service standards.

Dr. Vidal’s dual role as an academic leader at the University of Luzon and governance assessor with the LGA provides him with unique insights into curriculum development, competency mapping, and institutional assessment. His expertise is critical to the CapDev ACE initiative, which brings innovative strategies and best practices in governance to local governments.
