Certificate Programs

The College of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Luzon offers TESDA-approved certificate programs designed to provide students with essential skills for healthcare careers. These programs combine theoretical learning with practical training to prepare students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.

(a) Certificate in Caregiver NCII

This program equips students with the skills and knowledge required to provide personal care and assistance to individuals who are elderly, disabled, or ill. It covers topics such as basic nursing care, hygiene, and safety, along with skills for assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and emotional support.

(b) Certificate in Nursing Assistant/Healthcare Assistant NCII

This program trains students to assist nurses and healthcare professionals in providing patient care. It includes instruction in basic nursing procedures, vital signs monitoring, patient hygiene, and assisting in medical treatments. Graduates are equipped to provide support in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
Both programs are designed to meet industry standards, preparing graduates for employment in various healthcare settings. Students who complete these programs are eligible for TESDA certification and are qualified to work as caregivers or nursing assistants in healthcare environments.
