Bachelor of Library and Information Science
The Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) program at the College of Computer Studies is a four-year course designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage library resources, information systems, and digital archives. The program covers areas such as cataloging, information retrieval, information management, and research methods. Students will gain hands-on experience in library operations and information technology, preparing them for roles in libraries, information centers, and archives.
Graduates of the BLIS program are prepared to pursue careers as librarians, information managers, and archivists in academic, public, and corporate settings.
