The Beginning of an Odyssey: Casa College becomes UL’s formal partner

As the University of Luzon approaches its goal of becoming a world-class educational institution, it is crucial that we have allies who can propel us forward and keep us on the right track. We must recognize that in order to achieve greatness, we must collaborate with institutions that share the same values as us. With its thriving internationalization and multiculturalism, Casa College, located in Nicosia, Cyprus, in the Mediterranean, can be that ally.

Today, November 23, 2022, is a day of great significance. The president of Casa College, Mr. Yiannis Saveriades, honored us with his presence. Flying all the way from Cyprus, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Saveriades has signed an official memorandum of agreement with the University of Luzon, thereby bolstering the foundations of our partnership with Casa College. This has many implications for our students and faculty, including, but not limited to, exchange programs, the availability of the European Union’s Erasmus Program, the accessibility of employment and scholarship opportunities to our young graduates and students, the improvement of the quality of our university’s programs, and the realization of one of the most significant steps we’ve ever taken toward internationalization.

Recently, the University of Luzon has begun taking forthright steps and demonstrating dedication towards establishing global connections. Our partnership with Casa College will serve as the bedrock upon which we will continue to strive and prosper in our pursuit of globalization, elevating the quality of our education to a level that can garner praise from the rest of the world and allowing young dreamers to fly across oceans to destinations they had previously only imagined. As always, the University of Luzon seeks to educate, cultivate, and assist students in pursuing their aspirations and objectives in life; this is merely another remarkable milestone for which we can be proud and which we are confident will contribute significantly to our goals. Thus, it is essential that we take advantage of global connectivity opportunities so that we can ultimately set the stage for success and realize our dreams of establishing a truly global university.
