DIRECTORY INFORMATION
Students are advised that the following personally identifiable information is considered by the University to be Directory information which may be disclosed without prior consent of the student in response to public inquiry unless the Institution is requested not to disclose such information:
a. Name of student
b. Local address and zip code maintained in the Registrar’sOffice
c. Local telephone number (if any) maintained in the Registrar’s Office
d. Major field of study
e. Participation in officially-recognized activities and sports
f. Date of attendance in school
g. Most recent educational institution attended
h. Degrees and awards received
All other information about a student enrolled at the University are considered classified information and are subject to the principle on Secrecy of Records, except upon orders of a competent court of law, or in connection with an administrative investigation within the University concerning the student. Semestral grades of students, however, while considered classified information, shall be released to the students themselves, their parents or guardian/s.
CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS
Regular Student: A student who is enrolled for credit in an organized curricular program, whether on full-time or part-time basis, leading to a Degree, a Diploma, a Title, or a Certificate.
Special Student : A student who is enrolled without credit in any organized or unorganized program (such as an extension program) and is not
looking forward to earning credits for degree.
By study load, a student is classified, as follows:
Full-time student : A student who registers for at least 15 units in a semester.
Part-Time student: A student who registers for 12 units or less in a semester.
