Personnel Recruitment and Hiring
A new employee is selected only when a vacancy exists. The selection of an employee is based on a standard set of requirements such as academic qualifications, experience, training, aptitude and physical fitness. Only applicants with at least Bachelor or Degree (Title Holder) shall be considered for employment except for particular job titles which require only specific training, experiences or skill. The policy of the school is to fill up a vacancy from within the college whenever possible.
A 3-man Employee Selection Committee, composed of the Executive Vice-President as Chairman, the Vice-President for Administrative Affairs and the Personnel Officer as members, is created to assist in the selection process. The standard procedure to be followed are, as follows:
- The Section Head submits approved requests to the Personnel Office.
- Applicants file application forms in the Personnel Office for the initial interview.
- The Personnel Officer requires the applicant to take the necessary psychological tests, clerical tests, and physical examination.
- Examination results are forwarded to the Chairman of the Employee Selection Committee for deliberation by the said Committee with the Section Head.
- The selected applicant is given a probationary appointment approved by the President.
