Appointment
Employees of the University of Luzon generally fall into three main categories:
- Regular – those who, having satisfactorily completed their probationary period of employment, are granted permanent appointments.
- Probationary – those who are hired on a temporary basis to occupy a regular position, pending determination of his competency. Should the University decides to retain their employment, a permanent appointment is issued. Employment of probationary employees may be terminated if services being rendered are not satisfactory.
- Casual – those who are hired by the University, from time to time, to work on a specific project, job, and for a specific period, after which the employment automatically ceases. This appointment may likewise be terminated before the expiry date for just cause.
