UL Strengthens Community Service Through Operation Tuli in San Carlos City

Bringing healthcare closer to communities is one of the most meaningful ways to create lasting impact. Through an Operation Tuli Mission, children and families in Barangay Calobaoan, San Carlos City, Pangasinan benefited from essential healthcare services while student nurses gained valuable practical training through direct community engagement.
Held on May 23, 2026, the outreach activity brought together the University of Luzon, the Kiwanis Club of San Carlos City, and the Kiwanis Club of South Central Pangasinan in a shared commitment to promoting community well-being through volunteerism, compassionate service, and social responsibility.
Faculty members and student nurses from the University of Luzon’s College of Nursing and Midwifery provided healthcare services, promoted proper handwashing practices, and conducted wound care awareness sessions. The experience enabled students to strengthen their clinical skills while applying classroom learning in real-world settings that reinforce professional education and humanistic care.
The University also extends its sincere appreciation to Sir Richard F. Pidlaoan and the Kiwanis organizations for the opportunity to participate in this meaningful humanitarian initiative. The partnership reflects a shared dedication to expanding community outreach and creating more opportunities for service-oriented learning.
