The University of Luzon proudly recognizes the student participants from the College of Business Administration and College of Hospitality & Tourism Management for their active involvement in “PROJECT CATTLE-YST: Cattle Advocacy, Technical Training, and Livelihood Empowerment for the Youth and Stakeholders for Tomorrow”, organized by JCI Mangaldan Pindang and held at Quinit Farm in Buenlag, Calasiao, Pangasinan.

The activity provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage in experiential learning while contributing to a meaningful community-based initiative. Through participation in advocacy programs, technical training, and livelihood development activities, students gained practical knowledge and firsthand experience that complemented their academic learning.

This meaningful engagement reflects the strong partnership established through the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the University of Luzon – College of Business Administration and Hospitality & Tourism Management and JCI Mangaldan Pindang. The collaboration continues to create opportunities that enhance student development, community involvement, and social responsibility.

By participating in programs that empower local stakeholders and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities, students gain valuable experiences that enhance their leadership, teamwork, communication, and community engagement skills. These opportunities prepare them to become competent and socially responsible professionals who are committed to serving society and contributing to sustainable development. The University of Luzon commends all participating students for their enthusiasm, dedication, and active involvement, which reflect the University’s mission of developing individuals who create positive impacts in their communities and support long-term social and economic progress.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, this initiative promotes SDG 4: Quality Education by providing students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities beyond the classroom. It also advances SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by encouraging entrepreneurship, livelihood development, and community empowerment. In addition, the activity reflects SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the collaboration between the University of Luzon and JCI Mangaldan Pindang in implementing programs that create lasting benefits for students and local communities.
