University of Luzon Table Tennis Team Set to Represent at National PRISAA 2026
Posted on 28th of Jun 2026 by UL AdministratorThe University of Luzon proudly recognize the dedication of its Table Tennis Team as they prepare to compete in the National PRISAA Games 2026 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, from May 7 to 18, 2026.
Armed with determination, discipline, and countless hours of training, the University’s top paddlers are ready to represent the institution and Region I on the national stage. Their participation reflects the commitment of the University of Luzon to developing student-athletes who excel both in sports and academics.
Representing the Women’s Category are Alyssa May Gonzales, Louise Faith Panaligan, and Mekaila Canta, while Ivan Mina, Ralph Guarin, and Carl Bernabe will compete in the Men’s Category. Leading the team are Head Coach Benedicto Jose U. Tirante and Assistant Coach Gabriel Joshua E. Tirante, whose guidance, expertise, and unwavering support have played a vital role in the athletes’ development and success.
As they prepare to compete against some of the nation’s best table tennis players, the entire University of Luzon community proudly stands behind them. Their dedication, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship embody the true spirit of a UL Tiger and serve as an inspiration to fellow students and the entire UL family.
