University of Luzon Golden Tigresses Secure First Victories at National PRISAA 2026 in both 5v5 and 3×3 Women’s Basketball

The University of Luzon proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of the Golden Tigresses as they secured their first victories in the National PRISAA 2026 Women’s Basketball competitions.

Representing Region I on the national stage, the Golden Tigresses demonstrated determination, teamwork, and resilience as they opened their campaign with impressive performances in both the 5v5 and 3×3 categories.
In the 5v5 Women’s Basketball competition, Region I emerged victorious against the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) with a final score of 52–48. The team also claimed a hard-fought win in the 3×3 Women’s Basketball event, defeating Region IV-B with a score of 11–9.

By encouraging student-athletes to excel in both academics and athletics, the University of Luzon continues to foster holistic development and empower young individuals to become responsible and productive members of society.
