University of Luzon Strengthens Workforce Empowerment Through Staff Development Workshop

Anchored on the theme, “We are Irreplaceable: Redefining Productivity and Well-being,” the workshop underscored the University’s commitment to fostering a workplace culture where professional growth and personal well-being go hand in hand.
The meaningful initiative brought together non-teaching personnel for a day of learning, reflection, and empowerment, highlighting the vital role each employee plays in advancing the University’s mission and vision. By investing in the continuous development of its workforce, UL reaffirms its belief that every individual is an indispensable contributor to organizational success.
The workshop was facilitated by esteemed resource speaker Dr. Cherry May Rotas-Palacio, who guided participants through engaging and insightful sessions focused on the following topics: Self-awareness and self-configuration; Stress management and work-life balance; Personal mission and career planning; Emerging workforce trends and personal value-building; and Creating a positive and productive work environment
Through these sessions, participants gained valuable perspectives on understanding their strengths, managing workplace challenges, and cultivating a more balanced, purposeful, and fulfilling professional life. The discussions encouraged self-reflection while equipping attendees with practical strategies to enhance both personal effectiveness and workplace engagement.
