University of Luzon Strengthens Global Academic Partnerships on Day 1 of International Staff Mobility 2026

The University of Luzon marked a meaningful beginning to its participation in the International Staff Mobility 2026 program hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, as Day 1 activities officially commenced on May 4, 2026.
Representing the University of Luzon, Dr. Carmelo John E. Vidal joined delegates from various institutions during the Opening Ceremony, which set the stage for a week of academic exchange, collaboration, and international engagement. The day’s activities also included a comprehensive campus tour and networking sessions that provided participants with opportunities to connect with fellow educators, administrators, and international partners.
A significant highlight of the morning was the meeting between Dr. Vidal and an ITS Erasmus partner from the University of Southern Denmark. The discussion opened avenues for future collaboration and reinforced the importance of building strong international academic networks that support innovation, cultural understanding, and institutional development.
