University of Luzon Dean to Present Collaborative Research at International Conference in Thailand

Llego, Dean of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, will present a collaborative research paper at the 6th International Multidisciplinary Conference on Research and Education. The conference, hosted by ETCOR Educational Research Center, Inc., will take place at the Prince Palace Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 7, 2025.
The accepted paper, titled “Hyperemesis Gravidarum and Complications of the Newborn in the Peruvian Context: A Case-Control Study,” is a significant output of international collaboration with scholars from Peru. This research underscores UL’s commitment to fostering cross-border academic partnerships and addressing global health concerns.
The presentation will be part of the conference’s overarching theme, “Embracing the Culture of Research and Aligning Inquiry with Contemporary Global Challenges.” Luzonians are encouraged to follow the progress of this impactful research, which exemplifies the university’s dedication to generating knowledge with real-world applications in maternal and newborn health.
This international research collaboration and subsequent presentation align with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
