The University of Luzon (UL) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation on June 20, 2025. The signing ceremony, held at the WCC-ATC Audio Visual Room, marks a significant step towards enhancing leadership development and fostering global collaboration for Luzonians.

The MOU was formally signed by Mr. John Griffin, Vice President for Global Programs at the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation, and Professor Angel S. Reyna Jr., UL Director for International Relations, representing their respective institutions.

This strategic partnership is set to introduce impactful leadership training initiatives, providing University of Luzon students with opportunities for growth, empowerment, and meaningful societal change. Both organizations anticipate exciting possibilities stemming from this collaboration, with further updates to be announced.

This collaboration aligns significantly with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By focusing on leadership training, the initiative directly contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education, by enhancing the skills and capabilities of Luzonians for future leadership roles. Furthermore, the partnership supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering international cooperation between an academic institution and a global leadership organization to achieve shared objectives of empowerment and development.
