The University of Luzon recently participated in the Artisanal Fair (April 27-29) organized by the Center for Pangasinan Studies (CPS) in Lingayen, Pangasinan. The fair aimed to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of the region, showcasing traditional crafts and research projects from various organizations.
The University of Luzon was given the opportunity to showcase their research and products in two booths at the fair. The campus presented an impressive blacksmithing project, including replicas of popular movie blades, and a short film entry for the competition. The University’s researchers also participated in the event, showcasing their projects and research.
The University of Luzon’s booths caught the attention of visitors and key figures, including Governor Ramon V. Guico III and Congressman Christopher de Venecia. The University’s campus booth, in particular, was recognized for its exceptional design and execution, winning the “Best Booth” award at the fair.
The University of Luzon would like to express its sincerest gratitude to all those who made this achievement possible. The hard work, dedication, and creativity of everyone involved contributed to the success of our booths at the fair. We would like to thank our researchers, students, and faculty members for their excellent work in showcasing our research and traditional crafts.
We would also like to express our appreciation to the Center for Pangasinan Studies for organizing the Artisanal Fair and providing us with the opportunity to participate. This initiative is a great example of how academic and research institutions can contribute to the local communities and the preservation of their cultural heritage.
The University of Luzon is committed to supporting local communities and preserving cultural heritage. As we continue to face the challenges of the modern world, it is important to remember and appreciate the value of our traditional crafts and cultural heritage. Winning the “Best Booth” award at the Artisanal Fair is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in showcasing our research and traditional crafts.
In conclusion, the University of Luzon’s success in winning the “Best Booth” award at the Artisanal Fair would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and creativity of everyone involved. We are proud to have been part of this initiative and to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the region’s culture and arts.
