Bachelor of Science in Midwifery

The Bachelor of Science in Midwifery program at the UL College of Nursing and Midwifery is a comprehensive four-year degree designed to prepare students to become skilled and compassionate midwives. The program offers in-depth knowledge and practical training in maternal and child health, prenatal and postnatal care, and safe childbirth practices. Students also study reproductive health, family planning, and health education.

The curriculum combines theoretical coursework with hands-on clinical experience, allowing students to assist in deliveries, monitor maternal and infant health, and provide essential care in various healthcare settings. Through clinical internships, students develop the necessary skills to support women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

Graduates of the program are prepared to take the Philippine Midwifery Licensure Examination (PMLE) and practice as licensed midwives, contributing to the health and well-being of mothers and children in both local and global communities.
