The University of Luzon congratulates C/LTC Carl Angelo N. Lomibao, Corps Commander of the University of Luzon ROTC Unit, for representing the University at the Strengthening Army Leadership Attributes to ROTC Students in 7ID (SALARS-7).

Held on September 26–27, 2026, the activity took place at Fort Magsaysay in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. It brought together ROTC students for leadership development and practical training.

Lomibao’s participation reflects the value of leadership experiences in preparing students to serve with discipline, integrity, and a sense of responsibility. Through activities that develop leadership skills, UL encourages students to apply their education beyond the classroom and prepare for roles that require sound judgment and responsible decision-making.

Experiences in leadership and service also support the development of responsible citizenship. These values connect with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through practical learning and leadership skills development, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by promoting integrity, accountability, and respect for rules and institutions.

The University of Luzon recognizes Lomibao’s representation and encourages him to continue carrying the values of honor, duty, and country in his leadership and service.

Congratulations, Commander!
