Students from the University of Luzon’s College of Liberal Arts completed the Introduction to AI Literacy & Responsible Use micro-credentialing course offered by Mapúa University on September 14, 2026.

The course was part of the primary services of Handog ng Pangulo 2026, in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I. Through the Micro-Credential Caravan, CLA students gained access to learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom, allowing them to develop relevant knowledge and skills for an evolving professional landscape.

The course introduced students to AI literacy and its responsible use, helping them understand the role of technology in education and other fields. The learning experience also supports their preparation for future employment, where technological progress continues to shape workplace practices and professional requirements.

Micro-credentialing offers learners an additional way to strengthen their qualifications through focused, accessible courses. By taking part in this program, CLA students expanded their learning experience and gained knowledge that may support their academic and career development.

Expanding access to relevant learning opportunities supports the University of Luzon’s efforts to prepare students for changing educational and workplace needs. This direction aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
