University of Luzon Celebrates First Canada SEED Scholar

A new international learning opportunity begins for Ms. Crisantafe Osia, a third-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management student, after being selected as a recipient of the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) Program.
Her selection makes her the first University of Luzon student to receive the Canada SEED Scholarship, marking an important step in the University’s internationalization efforts. Through the scholarship, she will gain valuable exposure to an international academic environment while developing knowledge and skills that can support her future career.
Ms. Osia will begin her student mobility program in September 2026 at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) in Canada. She will spend the Fall Semester taking part in academic activities that will broaden her perspective, strengthen her global competencies, and encourage cross-cultural learning.
The opportunity also allows Ms. Osia to represent University of Luzon and the Philippines in an international setting. Her participation reflects her dedication to learning and her determination to pursue opportunities that extend education beyond the classroom.
International learning opportunities contribute to broader efforts toward inclusive education and meaningful global cooperation. These efforts support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
