University of Luzon Dean Receives Publication Commendation for Nursing Research
Posted on 11th of Sep 2026 by UL AdministratorDr. Jordan Llego, Dean of the University of Luzon College of Nursing, has been recognized with the Publication Commendation – Special Award for his contributions to nursing research and scholarly work.
The recognition honors the publication of 10 scholarly works, including one article published in a Q1-ranked international journal. These publications reflect Dr. Llego’s continued work in research and evidence-based practice, contributing to the growing body of knowledge in nursing and healthcare.
The award was conferred by the Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network (FiND Network), Global Society of Philippine Nurse Researchers, Inc. (GSPNRI), and Pacific Nursing Service Organization (PNSO). It was presented during the Nursing Diaspora Network Awards in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Llego received the recognition on May 16, 2026. The award recognizes his sustained scholarly contributions and the value of research in strengthening nursing practice and professional education.
Dr. Llego’s research work also contributes to the University of Luzon’s academic environment by encouraging faculty and students to engage in scholarly inquiry, strengthen their professional competence, and apply research findings to healthcare practice. His accomplishments provide an example of how research can support learning while contributing to better health outcomes.
