The University of Luzon – College of Accountancy, in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) – North Luzon Regional Office, successfully conducted another installment of its flagship outreach initiative, FLAMES: Financial Literacy through Accounting, Management, and Economics for Sustainability, on March 23, 2026.

More than a one-time undertaking, FLAMES has become a continuing commitment of the College of Accountancy to extend meaningful education beyond the classroom. This year’s seminar further strengthened that mission by equipping youth and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with practical knowledge essential for navigating today’s rapidly evolving financial landscape.

Participants benefited from insightful discussions on Digital Financial Literacy, Frauds and Scams Awareness, BSP Consumer Assistance Mechanism, and Strategic Tax Management.
